Hi, I’m Alicia Lucero! Your Colorado REALTOR®
As a devoted wife and proud mother of two, family is at the heart of everything I do. Before diving into real estate, I proudly served as a volunteer firefighter in Costilla County, where I learned the importance of dedication, teamwork, and community.
When I’m not busy helping clients, you can often find me in the gym, pursuing my passion for Olympic weightlifting, or on the trails with my mountain bike. My family and I enjoy watching Motocross & Supercross together while cheering for our favorite riders.
With my unique blend of experience, passion, and local knowledge, I’m committed to making your real estate journey as smooth and enjoyable as possible. Whether you’re buying, selling, or investing, I’m here to guide you every step of the way. Let’s turn your real estate goals into reality together!

FAQs
What is the first step in the home buying process?
Most people think that going to look at homes is the first step, but the first step is getting Pre-Approved! Working with a lender or a bank to find your comfortable monthly payment is the best place to start, and I can put you in contact with a local lender that I trust!
What is the difference between Pre-Qualification and Pre-Approval?
Pre-Qualification is an informal estimate of how much you may be able to borrow based on basic financial information. Pre-Approval involves a more thorough review of your finances by a Lender and provides a conditional commitment for a specific loan amount. I can help you with this step! I have local lenders that I trust to help you get started.
What are Closing Costs, and who pays for them?
Closing Costs are fees associated with finalizing a real estate transaction and can include appraisal fees, title insurance, and mortgage insurance to name a few. Both Buyers and Sellers may be responsible for certain closing costs which can vary depending on the terms of the purchase agreement. Having a Realtor on your side will absolutely help in negotiating the purchase agreement for you.
What is a Home Inspection? Why is it important?
A home inspection is a thorough examination of a property’s condition, including its electrical, plumbing systems, major appliances and more. It is SO IMPORTANT because it can uncover potential issues that may affect the property’s value or pose safety concerns. On average a home inspection will cost you $375-$575 upfront to have it done, but it could save you much more if they uncover a costly surprise.
How do I prepare my home for sale?
Preparing your home for sale includes decluttering, depersonalizing, making any necessary repairs, and enhancing curb appeal to attract potential buyers.
Can I sell my home if I have an existing mortgage?
Yes, you can sell your home even if you have an existing mortgage. The proceeds from the sale will be used to pay off your remaining mortgage balance.
How do I determine the right selling price for my home?
I can help evaluate by comparing your home and homes that have recently sold in your area that are similar in size and condition, and with that data I can determine a competitive listing price.
What documents do I need to gather before selling my home?
Documents you may need to gather include mortgage documents, property tax records, Homeowners Association (HOA) information and any applicable warranties.
Are you ready to start?
I would love to be your Realtor!
